The event largely promoted the product while applying direct communication strategy with its customers. The product launch event was highly successful. The product has achieved a large number of feedbacks in a very short time span (Grady Orttung, 2013). Meanwhile, the company has adopted modern marketing strategies like social media marketing. as social media marketing is the most useful medium to reach out to more customers, different promotional contents including videos were published over social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and so on (Kotabe Helsen, 2014). The purpose of the using social media sites for marketing was to attract the users as well as to allow them to give feedback and post queries. As observed, the promotional content of the product was published on the social networking sites; it received appraisals from the customers (Hays, Page Buhalis, 2013). In addition to the positive feedback, it also received critics opinion about the product which was of great importance as to it helped the company to identify all the disputes before the launch of the product. A well-known marketing consultancy was hired for the purpose of marketing of the product (Kotabe Helsen, 2014). The consultancy invited different media including newspapers and broadcast media channels. Different websites which publish reviews and promotional contents for a newly launched product were also consulted in order to promote the product. As part of their innovative marketing strategies, the company produced tutorials of the products in order to make the customers how to use the device (Tuten, Solomon 2017). The content of the tutorials was very engaging in order to attract the attention of the customers. According to the market trend, it is observed that publishing tutorials are one of the effective ways of marketing strategies (Hays, Page Buhalis, 2013). The result shows that the marketing strategy in terms of tutorial publishing adopted in order to promote the product was largely successful in attracting the customers attention. Another feature that makes the device unique from other products is that it consumes less time (Okello, et al., 2014). The device gives a smooth as well as radiant skin in just 90 seconds. The other barrier of masking which was overcome by the device is masking perfection is the perfection Weakness Contrary to the strength, the weakness of the product has also been analyzed through SWOT (Abdi, et al., 2013). Opportunities are huge for the product, if it modifies its features and excludes the part of LED lights from it as the growing awareness of the skin decease may cause disruption of the sale of the product any time. Threats: The major threat to the product is its usage of LED lights. As per the growing rate of skin cancer, most of the women as well men have started avoiding electronic skin care devices that can cause skin cancer. Among the other threats, the price of the product deserves mention. As compared to similar products that exist in the market, the price of the product is high. Therefore, the device is not affordable for people of all economic strata. The affluent people can only afford to buy it. Apart from similar devices, fairness creams are also available in the market. However, when we are referring to children, the debate becomes personalized. Due to their age, children are very vulnerable and any form of media that they come across can have a strong influence on their life presently and in the future (Coca, para. 2). Today, due to the economic pressures, many parents spend only a few hours with their children as they work long hours, this leaves the media as the only form of interaction that children can access, especially the television. This is worsened by the increase in the amount of violence and sex on television. Does the violent and sexual content displayed on television influence our children? Sadly, the answer to this question is yes. Violence and sex in the media heavily affects a child’s development, hardly a day passes without a mention of violence among children, or a girl aged 15 or 16 becoming pregnant. These actions arise from the child’s interaction with media at a young age. A Worrying Trend A visit at an elementary or middle school exposes th e degree to which media affects the way our children dress, who they interact and talk to, and their behavior. Kindergarten teachers no longer deal with inquisitive six year old children, or curious ten year olds in the middle schools, but have to separate two warring children now and again. These children see violence and intimidation as the only way through which they can assert their authority and solve their problems. Parents and teachers cannot match the media in influencing children. A research carried out by Mediascope Institute revealed that at the age of six, a child has spent more time watching television than time spent with their parents in their entire life. This revelation paints a grim truth about our children’s interaction with the media. Media does not affect children evenly, for example, the aggression levels among children after being exposed to violent material on the media varies fro child to child, but the effect is still noteworthy. There are two conflicting sides to this subject. The media who promote the violent shows, video games and other forms of entertainment insist that this is safe and the others maintain that such material promotes violence. Research shows that children who have access to violent media are more likely to have feelings of resentment and decreased emotional reactions towards others. While most grown-ups can recognize that media violence is untrue and that the actors only play according to the script, children are more susceptible. Children under the age of 13 cannot discern between reality and fantasy. At this age, the take whatever they see on television as the absolute truth. In fact, chil dren are known to harm themselves while trying to copy the moves or stunts that they see in television shows. The influence of violent media on children’s lives is summarized by the Academy of Pediatrics that state that â€Å"scientific studies and reviews conclude that significant exposure to media violence increases the risk of aggressive behavior in certain children, desensitizes them to violence and makes them believe that the world is a ‘meaner and scarier’ place† (Academy of Pediatrics).
